ACCUVON Rotary Lobe Pump
Rotary Lobe Pumps are self-priming, valve less, positive
displacement pumps. With speed-proportional flow, they continuously
deliver trouble-free pumping of liquids of various consistencies
and multiphase mixtures. They are compact and operate with low
shear and low pulsation.

Design and Materials:
- Pump casing: one-piece Block casing with protective liner plates at
both faces.
- Bearings: one side double bearings, oil bath in block-casing,
lateral drain plug
- Rotors: entirely NBR - coated, core not product wetted
- Rotor-form: dual lobe rotors, entirely elastomer coated
- Shafts: not wetted by pumped fluid, but oil lubricated Shaft
- Sealing: maintenance free single acting mechanical seals with
common oil quench, seal faces SISIC / SISIC; Seals easily
replaceable through pump casing.
- Seal monitoring: oil-filled intermediate chamber, integrated in the
pump casing, with lateral drain plug, as Quench, for seal
monitoring and for lubricating the shaft-rotor-connection, without
external fluid reservoir, without pressurization.
- Pump: 2-component-PUR-coat
- Drive: Manufacturers standard
- Maintenance: MIP™, Maintenance in Place, through quick release
cover opening, with 4 rings nuts and O-ring-seal, without
disassembling the pump and/or pipes.
Rotor types
Different forms of rotor design meets the diverse needs of users,
and the materials of the rotor are also diverse, such as NBR
rubber, EPDM rubber, FPM rubber, FFKM rubber, PU, Stainless steel,
copper, PTFE, etc.

Working Principle of Rotary Lobe Pump:
The rotary lobe pumps we also called them lobe rotor pumps. They
are one popular transfer pump to conveying the food, beverage, pulp
and paper, chemical, pharmaceutical and so on. The rotor lobe pump
relies on two synchronously rotating rotors that generate suction
(vacuum) at the inlet during the rotation. Thereby sucking in the
material to be conveyed. Both rotors split the rotor chamber into
different spaces. Then operate in the order of 1-2-3-4. The medium
is delivered to the discharge port. In this cycle, the medium
(material) is continuously transported out by the source.
